iOS 13: All You Need to Know

As we know, Apple has announced iOS 13 at WWDC 2019 event, showing the first look of iOS 13 the latest software for the iPhone. As per Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior VP of software engineering, iOS 13 is the “next big release for iOS,” and there will amazing features of iOS 13 with improvements to the operating system.

Apple has highlighted some key features in the event and doesn’t forget that many times the company keeps some features private for surprises for the iPhone reveal in September. There may be more features still to come.

 iOS 13 features, What’s New?

Improved Performance:

In every update of iOS, Apple giving more importance to the performance of iOS. So, the company understood that by the past issues and in the coming new version, They are not going to repeat this.

You will be able to unlock iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR is up to 30 percent faster by Face ID unlock. Apps launch will also be up to 2x faster in iOS 13.3.

Dark Mode:

A new Dark Mode option will come with a beautiful dark color scheme. Perfect for low-light environments, Dark Mode is easier on your eyes and won’t disturb people around you.

Wallpapers have optimized for Dark Mode automatically change as you switch between light and dark. Dark Mode is beautifully integrated throughout iOS, from built-in apps and settings to system-level views.

New Swiping Keyboard:

Apple is updating its default keyboard with swipe features. With iOS 13, Apple’s default QuickType keyboard will be incorporating swipe-to-type, a popular way of sliding across the keyboard to form words. We’ve used this in prior iOS keyboard extensions like Google’s Gboard and SwiftKey.

Reminders:

Reminders has a new look and offer intelligent ways to create and edit reminders, with more ways to organize and keep track of them. The quick toolbar makes it easier to add times, dates, locations and flags, or add attachments.

Notes:

A new updated note will come with Gallery View, more powerful collaboration with shared folders, new search tools and checklist options.

Messages:

You can easily share a user’s name and photo, or customized Memoji or Animoji by messages. Memoji will come with new hairstyles, headwear, makeup, piercings and accessories.

Siri:

There will be a more natural voice in Siri. Siri Shortcuts now supports suggested automation that provides personalized routines for things like heading to work or going to the gym.

CarPlay:

CarPlay gets its biggest update ever with a new Dashboard to view music, maps and more in a single view. A new Calendar app and Siri support for third-party navigation and audio apps.

HomePod:

You’ll be able to transfer songs from your iPhone by simply holding your phone closer to the HomePod speaker. The HomePod will also introduce Live Radio.

There’s way more detail here by way of Apple rebuilding maps from the ground up. There’s more realistic detail for roads, beaches, parks, and buildings, and you can now explore cities with a 3D 360-degree experience.
